Killed in a flying accident when his Beaufighter crashed in Poona, India, on 25 January 1947
Selwyn Grayston, from Finchley, London, a former member of the Air Training Corps, was born in January 1925.
He attested into the Royal Air Force on 24 November 1942 and served at Home during the Second World War.
Advanced Flight Sergeant on 31 December 1946, post-War he served in India with 84 Squadron and was killed in a flying accident, aged 22, when his Beaufighter, of which he was Navigator, crashed whilst on ferrying duty with 45 Squadron on 25 January 1947.
He is buried in Kirkee War Cemetery, India.
