Thomas Edwin Neville Wright died of wounds on June 19th. 1917, aged 22, the Battalion lists four men who died of wounds on this date, while in the line at Cite de Riaumont.
He is buried in Loos British Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France. Plot X1X, Row C, Grave 10.
He was born in Alford, the son of Betsy and Edwin Wright of 18 Wormald Street, Almondbury, Huddersfield. His soldiers’ effects £15-1-8d, £10-7-4d and war gratuity £13-10s was paid to his father Edwin Wright.
