Died of wounds on the Somme, 1 November 1916

Bertie Harding, the son of John and Louisa Harding was born at Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire in March 1896.

He attested for the Gloucestershire Regiment at Cirencester and served with the 8th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 18 July 1915.

He died of wounds on 1 November 1916, aged 20. and is buried at Puchevillers British Cemetery, Somme, France.
